Welcome to Goldenberg Learning.

 

I created this company as a way to help students succeed in the classroom and
keep them at, or above, grade level. 

 

In my decade of teaching experience, I’ve seen firsthand how individualized
attention can greatly help students reach their academic goals. I’ve loved working
with children since I was a young adult. I babysat as a teenager, ran youth
groups, and enjoyed tutoring.

 

After receiving my Judaic Teaching Diploma in Israel, I worked in a private
preschool in Queens, New York, where I co-taught in classrooms with diverse
student needs. During this time, I was pursuing a Bachelors degree and taught in
various public schools.  I also met my husband, who was studying to be a Rabbi.

 

Once I finished my Bachelors, we moved to Israel for a year. I worked in a
preschool in Jerusalem and had incredible experiences working with students
from different cultures. After the year in Israel, we moved back to New York,
where I completed my Masters degree and became New York state certified in
special education and general education, from birth through grade six.

 

Upon finishing my schooling, I held several teaching positions: a special education itinerant teacher, P-3, P-4 provider, a substitute teacher for the Department of Education of New York City, and a special educator in a private school with various levels of special needs students. Upon moving to Phoenix, I became a Judaic Studies teacher for Phoenix Hebrew Academy. I recently received my Arizona state certification in special education and general education.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach, tutor, and guide students from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and academic levels, write progress reports and IEPs, and collaborate with many other professionals in the field.

 

I currently live in Phoenix with my husband and three daughters. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, making parties, shopping, art activities, and staying healthy through hiking and exercising.
